As a Tool Maker, you will play a crucial role in the production process, using your expertise to create, modify, and maintain precision tools and fixtures. ## Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and repair precision tools and fixtures according to specifications.

• Utilize various machining techniques, including milling, turning, grinding, and electrical discharge machining (EDM).

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate tool production.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on tools and equipment.

• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool performance and efficiency.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

• Keep accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Tool Making or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a machine shop environment.

• Strong knowledge of machining processes and tools.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

• Ability to operate CNC machines and other precision equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
