Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates all manual tool room equipment
Maintains tool maintenance journal (records) on tooling
Instructs/trains tool maker helpers
Maintains and optimizes production tooling
Maintains inventory of spare elements for given tools
Reports al tooling changes to engineering
Minor equipment maintenance on tool room machines
Maintains and optimizes production tooling.
