What You'll DoAs a Tool & Model Maker, you'll support manufacturing by building, improving, and troubleshooting production tooling, including:
- Stamping and injection molding dies
- CNC machining fixtures
- Inspection gages, assembly tooling, and test equipment
You'll work from CAD models, drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions while collaborating with a skilled team in a hands-on tool room environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and troubleshoot production tools
- Operate machine tools and standard tool room equipment
- Use precision measuring instruments
- Analyze problems and develop practical tooling solutions
- Manage work to meet quality and schedule expectations
- Follow all safety rules and best practices
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Tool room experience with production tooling
- Ability to read and work from CAD drawings and prints
- Strong problem-solving and job-planning skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
