Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Set-up of cutting tools for the machining lines following tool setup instructions written in English.
- Using Zoller presetter equipment to measure tool offset & runout.
- Receiving / Inventory of cutting tool components.
- Recording cutting tool data from kanban to database.
- Collecting used tools from the lines for reload & returning reloaded tooling back to lineside storage cabinets.
- Packaging and shipment of used tools to be sent out for reconditioning.
- Maintaining 3-pillar and 5-S standards of tool room area and lineside storage cabinets.
