Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Tool Room Technicians for a manufacturing company. In this role, you’ll help build and repair die casting tools while supporting efficient production operations. What You’ll Do as a Tool Room Technician:

• Set up and run tool room machinery and repair parts
• Read blueprints and follow specifications to complete work accurately
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Build, repair, and adjust dies, tooling, and components
• Diagnose tooling issues and complete repairs, sometimes while tools are in machines
• Perform drilling, grinding, polishing, and assembly of parts
• Support continuous improvement efforts and meet production deadlines

What You Need to Bring to the Tool Room Technician Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, noise, vibration, and machinery
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
