About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Buyer to support the sourcing and procurement of tooling, manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and production support services for aerospace programs. In this role, you’ll manage the full purchasing lifecycle—from request for quote through delivery and invoice resolution—while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams.
This is a great opportunity for a buyer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, understands technical sourcing, and has experience buying build-to-print, spec-driven, and large-scale tooling.

What You’ll Do

  • Source and manage suppliers for tooling, fixtures, manufacturing equipment, and industrial services
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs
  • Analyze quotes, compare costs, and support supplier selection
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
  • Manage procurement activities from requisition through delivery, invoice resolution, and payment
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Quality teams to meet schedule and production goals
  • Track supplier performance for cost, quality, delivery, and technical compliance
  • Help resolve supplier issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain purchasing data, reporting, and procurement metrics
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable quality requirements
 Required Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing tooling, manufacturing equipment, fixtures, capital equipment, or related industrial services
  • Experience managing the full procurement lifecycle
  • Strong background in RFQs, supplier negotiations, and purchase orders
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements
  • Experience with build-to-print, specification-driven, and large-scale tooling purchases
  • Strong supplier management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tooling procurement experience in manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or production environments
  • Experience working directly with engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Aerospace, defense, or high-volume manufacturing background
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using procurement data to support decisions
  • Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
