Tooling Design Engineer
50k to 100k annually BOE, DIRECT HIRE opportunity, not temp job.
- Tooling, fixture and process design per customer requirements.
- Development, debugging and improvement for tooling processing.
- Designs, integrates or improves manufacturing systems/ related processes.
- Design and develop tooling designs.
- Identify opportunities for cost improvement.
- Determine root causes of failures and recommends change in designs, tolerances or processing methods.
- Incorporate new methods to improve existing operation.
- Troubleshoot new or existing product issues involving design, materials and process.
- Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness.
- Communicate manufacturing capabilities with production schedules, other info to facilitate production processes. Design, install or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
Education:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent combo of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Complex problem solving.
- Judgment and decision making.
- Systems analysis.
- AutoCAD, Solid Works or equivalent design software.
- Research and implement new technologies, technology design and time management.
