The company focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable solutions to meet the specific needs of its customers.Job DescriptionIn this role you'll report directly into the Manufacturing Manager and be responsible for:Designing tooling, gauges, and machine adaptations to support manufacturing operations.Utilizing CAD software to create tooling designs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.Utilizing CAM software to generate CNC machine code for tooling manufacture.Managing prototype and production tooling projects while maintaining rigorous timelines.Troubleshooting manufacturing processes and implementing corrective actions to improve performance.Overseeing the design and development of tooling solutions from concept through production.Participating in the APQP process to ensure tooling is delivered on time and meets design requirements.Collaborating with production teams to develop and refine new tooling designs.Developing and maintaining tooling standards using lessons learned to improve quality and reduce scrap.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and performing additional related duties as assigned.The Successful ApplicantA successful candidate will have:Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling, CAM software, and Microsoft Office applications.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and process improvement skills.Experience working in a manufacturing environmentWhat's on OfferThe candidate will receive:Competitive salary and potential for salary growthComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation/sick leaveOpportunities for professional development and career advancementA positive work environment that values collaboration and innovationWork-life balance and flexible scheduling optionsAccess to cutting-edge technologies and resourcesEngaging and challenging projects that foster skill developmentSupportive and inclusive company cultureNetworking opportunities within the industryPotential for performance-based bonuses or incentives.
