About the Role:

The Tooling Engineer for Service Operations is responsible for supporting the Service Center Network through the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of tooling solutions. This position reviews existing tooling, drawings, and related processes to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and consolidation. The role also manages tooling throughout its lifecycle in alignment with product lifecycle requirements and supports the coordination, build, and testing of new service tools to ensure effective deployment and operational readiness.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and implement tooling solutions that support the Service Center Network
  • Review and improve existing tooling, drawings, and related processes to enhance effectiveness and usability
  • Identify and drive opportunities for tooling standardization, optimization, and consolidation
  • Manage tooling lifecycle activities in alignment with product lifecycle requirements
  • Coordinate and support the build, testing, and validation of new service tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that tooling solutions meet operational needs
  • Promote continuous improvement in tooling design, deployment, and service readiness across the network

Degree Requirement

Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required.

What You Have:

Information Capture: Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Knowledge of design for manufacturability guidelines, methodologies, and use cases; ability to use this knowledge to optimize product designs and manufacturing operations.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Summary Pay Range:

$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
