Overview:
We are seeking a Tooling Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling custom carts, fixtures, and tooling used to hold and position products throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand tools, and the ability to follow basic assembly drawings and work instructions to build high-quality products safely and efficiently.
Job Duties:
• Assemble custom carts, fixtures, and tooling used in manufacturing operations.
• Follow basic drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders to complete builds.
• Use hand and power tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, and impact drivers.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and proper functionality.
• Modify and repair existing carts, fixtures, and tooling as needed.
• Measure, position, and align components during assembly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support tooling needs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with additional manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Previous assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, and impact drivers.
• Ability to read and follow basic assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience building fixtures, carts, racks, or similar products is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
