Position Overview:
' As a Tooling Buyer Planner, you'll be part of our Brea, CA team working as an onsite employee.
Key Responsibilities:'
' Based on bill of material, customer due dates and tooling lead times, plan supply chain.
' Update and maintain stock levels for non-perishable tools and shop supplies.
' Co-ordinate with engineering department to update and maintain tool drawings.
' Update/maintain bills of material.
' Co-ordinate and incorporate tooling needs for production floor.
' Update/maintain tooling inventory.
' Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
' Prepare production reports. Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
' Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
Review MRP (JD Ewards) messages to plan tooling orders/request.
