Mold Maker / Tooling Technician
Pay: $25 – $35/hr

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mold Maker / Tooling Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and performance of injection molding tooling in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring molds are properly maintained, repaired, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities
Perform repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molds to support production operations
Work closely with engineering, production, and tooling teams to resolve mold and molding issues
Identify and implement solutions for complex mold problems within injection molding processes
Create and manage work orders for mold service and repairs while maintaining proper documentation
Verify molds are production-ready and communicate tooling conditions to engineering and production teams
Assist in coordinating tooling repairs and improvements
Train team members on equipment and processes within the tool repair department
Follow company policies including ISO standards, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in mold making, mold repair, or injection mold processes strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and engineering-related software
Work Environment
This role is based in a clean manufacturing and warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels and requires hands-on work with tooling and equipment.
