Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a toolmaker and CNC programmer position at a manufacturing company in Bethel CT. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $85,000-$100,000 a year, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Program, set up and troubleshoot Hass and Fryer CNC machines
- Prepare tool and offset lists for CNC programs
- Design, build, troubleshoot, sharpen and repair dies for press machines
- Maintain equipment in toolroom, CNC and press room
- Maintain inventory and documentation for toolroom, CNC department and press room
- Train and help oversee employees in toolroom and CNC department
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least 10 years of toolmaking experience
- At least 10 years of CNC programming and operating experience
- Mastercam experience required
- Experience with Hass and Fryer CNC machines strongly preferred
- Leadership experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working a small shop setting and willing to help in other areas when needed
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
