Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a toolmaker and CNC programmer position at a manufacturing company in Bethel CT. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $85,000-$100,000 a year, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Program, set up and troubleshoot Hass and Fryer CNC machines
Prepare tool and offset lists for CNC programs
Design, build, troubleshoot, sharpen and repair dies for press machines
Maintain equipment in toolroom, CNC and press room
Maintain inventory and documentation for toolroom, CNC department and press room
Train and help oversee employees in toolroom and CNC department
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
At least 10 years of toolmaking experience
At least 10 years of CNC programming and operating experience
Mastercam experience required
Experience with Hass and Fryer CNC machines strongly preferred
Leadership experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working a small shop setting and willing to help in other areas when needed
Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
