Build what matters with precision
At Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC, our Tool Room is where ideas become parts. As our CNC Gantry Mill Programmer/Operator, you’ll craft steel blade cores to exact specifications — translating blueprints into G/M code, selecting tooling, and cutting flawless features through milling, drilling, reaming, and boring.
Your impact
- Own setups on Haas Gantry Milling equipment and dial in fixtures for repeatable accuracy.
- Program, prove out, and refine basic CNC toolpaths; make real-time edits to keep quality on target.
- Inspect in-process and final parts with micrometers, indicators, and calipers, taking corrective action when needed.
- Maintain a reliable cell — perform basic maintenance, and keep machines, fixtures, floors, and walls clean.
Flexibility: Duties may extend beyond these core tasks as management assigns additional responsibilities to support production.
