About the role
We’re hiring a Manual Machinist who owns the full cycle—from interpreting drawings to delivering finished parts—on Bridgeport mills and conventional lathes.
What you’ll do
Set up and operate manual Bridgeport mills and engine lathes
Turn, mill, drill, and tap components to spec
Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and follow work instructions
Inspect with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance
Maintain tight tolerances and consistent quality
Keep machines and your work area clean and maintained
Troubleshoot dimensional or finish issues and adjust as needed
Partner with engineers, peers, and supervisors on process improvements
What makes you a great fit
3+ years of manual machining experience (or equivalent)
Confident on Bridgeport mills and conventional lathes
Comfortable reading technical drawings and planning setups
Working knowledge of tooling, materials, and machining fundamentals
Accurate with precision measuring instruments
Detail-driven, quality-focused, and a collaborative teammate
Nice to have
ProtoTRAK mill experience
Prototype or low-volume production background
Basic CNC familiarity
