Ark Resource Group is assisting one of our verified industry partners in hiring a Torching / Welder<\/b> with fabrication experience preferred<\/b> for a scrap metal recycling operation in the Allapattah area.
<\/p>

This role is ideal for a certified candidate who wants to gain hands -on experience<\/b> while working with heavy materials. The position involves cutting thick steel using torch equipment and preparing materials for container loading and transport<\/b>.

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>
<\/h3>

• Perform torch cutting on thick steel and metal structures<\/b> to meet size requirements
  <\/li>
• Assist with fabrication -related tasks<\/b>, including breaking down large materials
  <\/li>
• Cut and prepare scrap metal for container loading and shipment<\/b>
  <\/li>
• Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  <\/li>
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements<\/b>
  <\/li>
• Maintain organized work areas and support yard operations
  <\/li>
• Work closely with supervisors to meet daily production goals

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • Welding certification required (entry -level accepted)
    <\/li>
  • Fabrication or metalwork experience preferred<\/b>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with torch cutting thick steel<\/b> is a strong plus
    <\/li>
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the scrap metal recycling industry
    <\/li>
  • Ability to work in an outdoor, industrial environment<\/b>
    <\/li>
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
    <\/li>
  • Reliable transportation to the Allapattah / Miami Airport area
