Tort Claims Customer Service Representative | Claims CSR | Claims Processing Representative

Location: Austin, TX (Remote, Local Austin Candidates Preferred)
Pay Rate: $20.00

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

We're looking for a Tort Claims Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide exceptional service by assisting callers, resolving inquiries, and accurately documenting information while navigating multiple systems.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and can remain calm and professional while handling a high volume of inbound calls.

 

What You'll Do

  • Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy.
  • Research customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate resolutions.
  • Navigate multiple computer applications simultaneously while documenting interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer communications.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Escalate complex issues when appropriate.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and customer service performance expectations.
  • Perform additional administrative and customer support duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent customer service experience in a high-volume contact center or call center environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
  • Local Austin, Texas candidates preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting claims, insurance, legal, healthcare, or government programs.
  • Experience working remotely in a customer service environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
