Join a respected law firm seeking an experienced Temp-hire Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial preparation and trial support.

Top Critical Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree & Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved program)
• Trial preparation and trial support experience
• Experience drafting legal documents, managing discovery, preparing medical chronologies, and summarizing deposition transcripts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of civil cases for trial
• Handle discovery, records management, and document organization
• Summarize medical and employment records and prepare detailed medical chronologies
• Summarize discovery responses and deposition transcripts
• Draft meet and confer correspondence and litigation-related documents
• Support motion practice, including discovery motions and motions to continue trial
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare case materials

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm
• Civil litigation experience required
• Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required
• Experience with legal research platforms and paperless file systems
• iManage experience is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to successfully pass a background and drug screen
