Role: Tosca Automation Tester / Developer

 

Location: Raleigh, NC 

 

Duration: 12+ Months (07/01/2026 – 06/30/2027)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tosca Automation Tester / Developer to support a large-scale state government project in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation using Tosca, along with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across web, client-server, and database applications. This role involves working closely within Agile teams to ensure application quality, stability, and performance across multiple releases.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca
  • 5+ years of experience with Client testing tools including  Quality Center/ALM (9.0+) and  QTP/UFT (9.5+)
  • 5+ years of experience testing  web, GUI, client-server, and database applications
  • 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis and test case/script development
  • 5+ years of experience writing test plans and reviewing test cases using automation tools
  • 5+ years of experience working in  Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • 2+ years of experience with  Selenium automation testing
  • 1+ year of experience testing  Curam-based applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment

 

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with NeoLoad and qTest
  • Understanding of FNS/SNAP program policy guidelines
  • 1+ year of experience with  Java/J2EE development
  • Experience in  Health and Human Services (HHS) domain projects
  • 1+ year experience with  JUnit and JMockit
  • 2+ years of experience writing and executing  SQL queries (Oracle or similar databases)
  • 1+ year experience working in  UNIX/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Exposure to Spring Framework / Hibernate

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts using  Tosca
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and test cases
  • Execute automated regression testing for multiple application releases
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders within Agile teams
  • Ensure quality assurance through continuous testing and validation of application functionality
  • Assist in maintaining and improving Java-based applications where required
  • Support unit testing efforts using  JUnit and JMockit
  • Perform database validation using  SQL queries
  • Debug and report defects, ensuring timely resolution
  • Participate in code and test case reviews and contribute to continuous process improvements
  • Work with tools such as  ALM/QC, qTest, and NeoLoad
  • Stay current with emerging trends in test automation and Java technologies
