Casa de Fruta is a unique business that offers a wide range of services, including a restaurant, a Fruit Stand, Wine Tasting, a Sweet Shop, an RV Park, an Inn, Cabins, and a Chevron fueling station. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of operational infrastructure across our property.

Position purpose: To provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for pre-school and elementary school children during our seasonal Pumpkin Junction which operates Monday through Friday in the month of October.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Learn the activities of each station during the tour
• Keep an upbeat, fun persona during each tour
• Manage the children during the tours to ensure a safe environment at all times
• Interact with teachers and parents/chaperones
• Stay organized during each tour to ensure proper time management

The responsibilities and duties are not limited to those mentioned above.

Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)

Must be outgoing!!!

Must be able to interact well with children

Must be willing to dress as a Scarecrow (you provide the outfit)

Work Requirements: [Actual physical work required, i.e. standing at cash register, loading items onto shelves, sitting, working at a computer, etc – include approximate amount of time per day-- N (Never), O (Occasionally up to 3 hrs per day), F(Frequently, 3 – 6 hrs per day), C (Constantly, 6 – 8+ hrs per day), based on 8 hour shift.)]

Standing/walking – C

Driving motorized vehicle(golf cart, forklift) - N

Repetitive pushing/pulling (scrubbing, wiping, mopping, sweeping, scraping, hosing) – O

Climbing, working from ladder or stepstool – N

Bending/stooping (merchandising, stocking etc) – O

Kneeling(cleaning toilets, floors, stocking, merchandising, etc) - O

Lifting up to 50 lbs (Cases of water, wine, etc) – N

Reaching (stocking, merchandising, cleaning walls, windows, mirrors, etc) - O

Overhead work (stocking, merchandising, cleaning walls, windows, etc.) - O

Other tasks, including minor maintenance and/or repair – N

You may remember Casa de Fruta as the little cherry stand on Pacheco Pass, or as we are today, a California landmark and traditional stop on many families journeys. At our roadside Orchard Resort in the beautiful Pacheco Valley, we welcome visitors from around the world to stay and discover all that Casa de Fruta has to offer.
