In this role, the Lucid Tow Truck Driver will be responsible for spending majority of their time transporting vehicles between various Lucid service/delivery locations and customers.   When not towing vehicles, support the service center as needed.   

Responsibilities

  • Operate service tow truck/flat bed in a safe and legal manner in compliance with safety regulations
  • Transport Lucid vehicles between various local Lucid locations and customer homes.  Occasional travel outside immediate geography may be necessary
  • Operate motor vehicles on and off Lucid premises safely for transport, pickup and delivery in support of service activities
  • Complete daily inspection of the truck for safety and adheres to standard operating procedures
  • Ensure trucks are kept clean and periodic maintenance is completed
  • Assist service department members as needed (i.e. wash vehicles, tire changes, move and stage vehicles etc.)
  • Performs other administrative and service support functions as needed
  • Ability and flexibility to travel on an as-needed basis per business needs
  • Ability to work the dayshift schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM with occasional weekend overtime
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years current tow truck driving experience (flatbed experience preferred)
  • Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as leave proprietary DMS software
  • Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.   Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire

Where permitted by law, successful completion of a drug test and background check including, but not limited to, motor vehicle records is a condition of employment for Lucid service centers

Compensation & Benefits:Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.  Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
