Are you ready to make the career you have been looking for? Essential Responsibilities:Driving the tow truck to a pickup siteCommunicating with the client for details of the vehicleDuties entail very early and late pickup and delivery times, employee is on the road an extreme amount of timeDrives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidentQuickly determining a course of action for moving a damaged vehicleSecuring a damaged vehicle to the tow truckTransporting the vehicle to a service station or junkyardSecures vehicles down and verifies the condition of the truck and the load, gets paperwork associated with the vehicleWorks carefully in such a manner as to prevent injury to yourself or damage to vehicles Complies with established Company policies and proceduresProvide exceptional customer service to our members in need of emergency mechanical help includingMakes proper notations on regarding vehiclesTransport cars between dealerships, body shops, branches and auctions as requested Qualifications Include:Must have at least one year experience operating a tow truckMust have a clean driving recordMust have at minimum, a Class E licenseGood time-management skillsAttention to detail in high-pressure situationsEffective communication skillsGood physical dexterity and staminaStrong customer service skillsThe ability to follow instructions and proceduresComfort working both independently and collaborativelyDemonstrates positive customer service attitude - both to coworkers and customers.Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to move safely over uneven terrain or in tight spacesAbility to work in extreme weatherSit behind driving wheel for extended periods of timeSuccessfully pass drug & background tests in compliance with company policy and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. **We Offer Competitive Benefits**Medical, Dental & VisionIncentive Pay & Shift Differential for night and weekend driversPaid Time OffCompany Match 401(k)Company Sponsored Life InsuranceSupplemental Accident, STD & Critical Illness coverageWork Life Balance
