Tow Truck Driver
Plush Tow & Transport is hiring a reliable Tow Truck Driver to provide towing and roadside assistance services in a fast-paced, on-call environment. We’re looking for someone who is safe, professional, dependable, and comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and in changing weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Respond to dispatch calls for towing and roadside service
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles
- Perform basic roadside services such as jump starts, tire changes, and lockouts
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
- Update job information and notes in Towbook
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
- Keep truck, tools, and equipment clean and ready for service
- Follow company safety procedures and towing policies
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Basic mechanical or automotive knowledge
- Ability to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors and in roadside conditions
- Towing or roadside experience preferred
- CDL preferred, but not required
