About This Job As a Toyota Sales Consultant in Springfield, you drive the customer experience from initial contact to vehicle delivery. Job Duties and Responsibilities The Toyota Sales Consultant engages with prospective customers, understands their needs, and presents vehicle options. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service. Generates new sales leads and cultivates existing customer relationships.Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every client.Develops and maintains in-depth product knowledge (Toyota), effectively communicating features and benefits.Conducts vehicle demonstrations and explains financing options clearly.Applies effective negotiation strategies to finalize sales agreements.Manages the entire automotive sales process, from inquiry to delivery.Utilizes CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and follow up efficiently.Achieves and exceeds monthly sales targets and performance goals.Builds strong client relationship management through consistent communication and follow-up.Demonstrates superior communication skills to articulate information and persuade customers.Executes effective closing sales techniques to complete transactions successfully. Required Qualifications Education Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience Holds prior experience in sales, preferably within the automotive sales industry.Demonstrates a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. Knowledge/Skills Applies strong sales and negotiation techniques.Exhibits excellent customer service and communication skills.Possesses or develops comprehensive product knowledge (Toyota).Understands and practices effective client relationship management.Proficiently uses CRM software and other sales tools.Shows capability in lead generation and prospecting.Applies proven closing sales strategies. Preferred Qualifications Holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Possesses experience with specific automotive CRM platforms.Bilingual abilities are a plus. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Stands, walks, and sits for extended periods during the workday.Operates a computer and other standard office equipment.Works in a dealership environment, including showroom and outdoor lot conditions.Requires a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
