Toys Team Leader

Job Summary

The Toys Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the toys department. This role leads and supports stocking, manages inventory levels, coordinates with vendors, and ensures toys are properly stocked, organized, and displayed according to company standards. The Toys Team Leader works closely with store management to support sales goals, maintain operational efficiency, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and support Toys Associates to ensure merchandise is efficiently stocked, organized, and properly displayed.
2. Monitor inventory levels and oversee merchandise organization to ensure products are well-stocked, accurately displayed, and replenished in a timely manner.
3. Partner with store management to support product selection, merchandising strategies, and department performance.
4. Lead regular team meetings to communicate department goals, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Travel to and work at other store locations as needed.
6. Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications

1. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support, motivate, and develop team members.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
3. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and effectively lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
4. Must have open availability, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay and Compensation

1. From $29.5 Per Hour
2. Quarterly Performance Bonus
