Summary:

The main function of a systems engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to

the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. A typical systems engineer analyzes user needs, and then designs, tests, and develops software to meet those needs.

Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements

- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer supporting product

development teams focusing on developing autonomous machines,

including the integration of software and hardware to deliver autonomous

solutions

- Prior experience collaborating with systems integration and validation

teams for engineering product development, including the validation of

software and hardware to deliver autonomous solutions both in the lab

and on machine

- Knowledge and experience with Construction Equipment such as

Articulated Dump Trucks, Hydraulic Excavators and Wheel Loaders

implementation, customer rollout, and support.

- Ability to decompose complex customer requirements into achievable

technical requirements for the systems that make up the product.

- Knowledge and experience with Autonomous Systems, preferably a Cat

Command system

- Experience with systems integration over CAN and Ethernet
