LOCATION: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA, is preferred, but open for remote

PAY RANGE: $138 - $148/hr.

Role Overview:
A Technical Program Manager (TPM) is a specialized role focused on driving the execution of complex technical programs and projects. TPMs leverage their technical expertise, program leadership, and strategic influence to proactively identify and solve problems, drive alignment across cross-functional teams (XFNs), and increase execution efficiency and communications.

Surrounding Team & Key Projects:
The eDiscovery team is responsible for managing the exchange of electronic information in the context of litigation, regulatory actions, and internal investigations. Their work centers on electronically stored information (Client), which includes identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analytics, production, and reporting of data in response to legal and regulatory matters.
The TPM role oversees the projects and workstreams for the Data Engineering team within eDiscovery & Information Governance. These include work directly needed for legal matters, as well as broader projects to enhance operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Definition: Help define the right scope, goals, and metrics for projects and programs.
  • Roadmap Alignment: Build alignment between teams and coordinate dependencies.

  • Communication: Keep stakeholders informed and ensure transparency.
  • Program Execution: Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery.

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Data Engineers and Attorneys on the delivery of pipelines as needed for the global legal docket.
  • Program Definition: Help define the right scope, goals, and metrics for projects and programs.

Must-Have Hard Skills:

  • Experience working in eDiscovery and/or other highly regulated environments (e.g., legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, finance, etc.).
  • Non-traditional background or interdisciplinary experience. Working in other roles, industries, or startups is welcome, as long as someone has at least 5 7 years of total experience in TPM and Data Engineering. A Big Tech background is not necessary.
  • Experience leveraging AI to improve processes and automate workflows.
