Description

Position Title: TPM
Location: Dallas, TX/Austin, TX
Hire Type: FTE
Salary: $120K to $125K Max


What you’ll do: 
  • Manage business and technical deliverables to the project budget and timeline throughout the various project phases.
  •  Develop and document project plans, budgets and schedules.
  •  Identify and document the roles, tasks, and responsibilities of the project team 
  • Document release/deployment plans, present to leadership.
  •  Schedule and manage releases, create deployment tickets. 
  • Schedule, coordinate and lead release and certification calls.
  •  Identify gaps/risks early and establish mitigation plans.
  •  Ensure the coordination of individual team deliverables are synchronized as necessary to achieve product releases.
  •  Manage day-to-day scrum activities and influence team members to leverage, follow and support agile software development practices, Schedule and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies as needed.
  •  Interface with product owner and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, QA and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget.
  •  Work with leads and product owner to provide development sizings & cost analysis estimates.
  •  Work closely with product owner and team members to decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks.
  •  Utilize scrum tools and frameworks to achieve efficiency both internally and externally.
  •  Support integration efforts to build whole systems from various subsystems.
  •  Assist development and operations teams in resolving needs and roadblocks identified by team members 
What you have:


  • Three or more years of project management experience, managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environments
  • Scrum Master and Release Manager experience.
  • Two or more years of technology experience, previous development or QA experience.
  • Previous technical experience with the Microsoft technology stack (C#, SQL Server) or with Java.
  • Ability to understand technical issues and facilitate resolution.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and MS Word along with general familiarity with Outlook, Visio and other MS Office applications Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills with a solid ability to ability to identify stakeholders, assess their needs and manage their expectations through effective communication.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Experience working with an Agile methodology on large scale, technically complex projects for a large enterprise
  • Results Driven (Prioritizing, Taking Initiative, Taking Ownership)
  • Team Leadership (Coaching Others, Dealing with Stress, Demonstrating Teamwork, Influencing Others, Interacting with Others, Maintaining Composure, Motivating Others, Providing Direction and Leadership) Certified Scrum Master and PMP Certification (plus).
  • Financial Industry experience (plus)
