Job Summary: This position is responsible for performingvarious warehouse duties, such as sorting pallets, operating a forklift to load, unload, and receive materials, completing paperwork/data entry as well as collaborating with our customer. Essential Duties: Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming pallets.Sort and place materials and items according to organizational standards.Maintaining precise records on all inventory.Inspecting inventory for damage and/or PECO's quality specifications as well as maintainingrecords regarding pallet condition.Organizing the warehouse space.Preparing orders for shipment.Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.Operating stock management tools, for example, a forklift.Counting stock and keeping inventory records.Other duties as assigned.Education, Skills, and Experience:Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED)Good attention to detail and organizational skills arenecessary.Good understanding of machine mechanics and how to make minorrepairs.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and sort 65lb pallets repeatedly.Standing for long periods.Full range of motion required for reaching, bending, and lifting.Work Conditions:Work is performed in a warehouse environmentDust associated with pallet operationsNoise associated with pallet operationsSome inclement weather exposure for outdoor dutiesPECO Pallet Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
