Job Description

TheTreasury and Payments Solutions(TPS)Client AdvocacyandEventsManagerleadsclient advisoryengagement, Voice of Customer (VOC) insight,and TPS industry eventstrategy.This role ensuresclient feedbackand external market engagementinformstrategic decisions, product evolution,clientexperience priorities, and industry presence. Therole partnerswithTPSleadership,Product Management andStrategy,Sales, Marketing, andPaymentspartnersto translateclient sentiment, market themes, and event opportunitiesintoactionabledirectionfor senior and executive leadership.

The role ownsstrategic Client Advisory Groups,aligns VOC findings to business priorities, andguidesevent participationdecisionsacross TPS productandsales partners.This includes recommendinginvestment levels based on budget,participation goals, audience relevance, strategicfit, and appropriate bank attendees.Whilenotarevenue or product deliveryrole, itenableslong‑termvalueby strengthening client trust, improving decision‑making,andelevating TPS visibilityin priority industry forums.

Key Responsibilities

Client AdvocacyGroupsand Feedback Forums Leadership

  • Partnerwith TPS leaders andProduct Management and Strategy teams to identify priorityfeedbackareasaligned to strategic business objectives.

  • Collaborate across productand relationshippartnersto ensureVOCinsights reflect enterprise‑wide client needs and opportunities.

  • Designand execute strategic Client Advisory Groupsandfeedback forums,virtually and inperson, whileconnectingadvocacy prioritiestorelevant industry events.

  • Structureforumsby industry, client processtheme,orgeographyto capturediverse client perspectives.

  • Serveas a trusted client advocacy voicein strategic discussions and decision forums.

Industry Event Strategy & Participation Planning

  • DriveTPS industry eventstrategyacross product, sales, marketing, and leadership partners,alignedto business prioritiesandclient engagement goals.

  • Evaluateevent opportunities and recommend participation levels based onbudget, strategic relevance, clientconcentration,visibility,and expected business value.

  • Determineappropriate bank attendeesbybalancing executive presence, product expertise, sales coverage,andrelationship priorities.

  • Defineevent goals, key messages, target clients or prospects, meeting priorities, andfollow‑up expectationswith TPS partners.

  • Maintain a disciplinedTPSevent portfolio,helping leadership prioritize wheretoinvest,speak, sponsor, attend, or decline.

Insight Synthesis, Analytics & Storytelling

  • Analyzefeedbackfromadvisory groups, VOC channels, relationship engagement, and priority industry events.

  • Synthesizeinput intothemes, trends, risks,market signals,andopportunities.

  • Produce dashboards, executive summaries, and narrative insights that translate client sentiment into leadership‑ready materials.

  • Elevate findings to seniorleaders with clearimplications for strategy, products, and experience design.

ClosedLoop FollowUp & Progress Visibility

  • Monitor progressonactions informed by client feedback, in partnership withbusiness and product teams.

  • Trackkey themes, action status, and outcomeswithout owning execution.

  • Communicateprogressinternally and externallyto reinforcethat feedback leads to action.

  • Capture post‑event insights and follow-up commitments as visible next steps.

Measurement & Impact

Impactwill bemeasuredthroughstronger client engagement, leadership adoption of client and market insights, disciplined event investment decisions, andlong‑term value creationamongengaged client segments.

  • Engagement and retention of participating clients

  • Leadership adoption and use of client insights

  • Evidence of client feedback influencing strategic priorities and product evolution

  • Qualityofevent investment recommendations, including alignment to budget,priorities,engagement goals, andattendee participation

  • Evidence that feedback and event insights influence strategic actions and long‑term value creation

Success Profile 

  • Trusted partnership with TPS leadership, Product and Strategy teams, and Payments partners

  • High‑quality, consistent Client Advisory Groups with strong client participation

  • Executive leaders regularly reference VOC insights in decision‑making

  • Clear, disciplined closed‑loop tracking and communication

  • Clearlinkage between client feedback,event insights,strategic actions, and long‑term value creation

Basic Qualifications- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience- 10 or more years of experience in project management activities- Two or more years of managerial experiencePreferred Skills/Experience

  • 10+ yearsinclient experience,insights, strategy, consulting, program management,industryevents,or related fields

  • Proven ability to influence senior and executive leaders without direct authority

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; able to translate complex feedback into clear insights

  • Executive‑level communication and presentationskills

  • Experience designing and facilitating senior‑level client forums or advisory groups

  • Experience developingevent participation strategies, evaluatinginvestments, and coordinatingattendee planning

  • Comfort operating in a matrixed, multi‑LOB environment

  • Financial services or complex B2B client experience

  • Experiencewithindustry conferences, sponsorships, trade associations, client forums, or executive events

  • Experience partnering with strategy, analytics, or insights functions

  • Familiarity with Voice of Customer methodologies and client listening tools

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
