Job Summary

The Interim Manager - TRA (Manager) is part of team that supports the temporary leadership needs of the Tenet Healthcare organization. The Manager will support the needs in any market in which Tenet operates. The Manager is responsible for operations management of a single or multiple department(s). They day-to-day operations management will include directing, supervising, orienting/training, and evaluating staff. Enforces policies, procedures, and standards of operation. The Manager may have budgetary or fiscal accountability.

Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day management operations. The Manager directs, supervises, orients/trains, and evaluates staff. Enforces policies, procedures, and standards of operation. Performance and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of all areas managed to include instructing and mentoring other personnel. The Manager ensures the highest level of quality patient care is always maintained and ensures smooth operation of the department. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, maintaining staffing, meets applicable regulatory standards, and approving supply orders and department strategic planning.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in related Allied Health Specialty based on the assigned department. Refer to job posting for details.

Preferred: Master's degree in Allied Health Specialty, Health Administration or Business based on assigned department. Refer to job posting for details.

Experience:

Required: 3 years of progressive management experience in an acute care facility.

Additional experience may be required based on assignment. Refer to posting for details.

Certifications:

Required: Certification, Licensure and Registration to be determined based on the assigned department. Refer to job posting for details. AHA BLS. Additional AHA levels may be required based on patient population managed.

Physical Demands:

Lift/position up to 25 lbs. Push/pull up to 25 lbs. of force. Frequent sitting. Moderate standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and bending. Manual dexterity, mobility, touch, auditory to perform all the related duties of the position.
