Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our homecare team in New Freedom, PA. This position involves providing one-on-one care for a medically complex pediatric patient in the comfort of her home.

Our patient is a sweet young girl who relies on skilled nursing support for tracheostomy and ventilator care. She lives with her dedicated single parent, making dependable nursing coverage an essential part of maintaining her health, safety, and quality of life.

Whether you're looking for day, evening, or overnight shifts, we have opportunities available to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the home setting
• Monitor respiratory status and overall patient condition
• Perform tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Conduct patient assessments and document care accurately
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Collaborate with the patient's family and healthcare team to support the plan of care

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care preferred
• Willingness to learn with paid training available for qualified candidates
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a homecare setting
• Reliable transportation
