Earth Resources Corporation (ERC) is seeking a skilled Track Hoe / Excavator Operator to
join our team. We are a busy heavy civil construction and mining company looking for
candidates who demonstrate Leadership, Safety, Quality, and Production as part of their daily
mindset.

The Track Hoe Operator plays a critical role in excavation, site development, and material
handling while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position requires an
operator who can work efficiently while protecting crew members, underground utilities, and
surrounding structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a track hoe/excavator in heavy civil construction and mining environments
  • Perform trenching, excavation, mass grading, and loading operations
  • Dig around underground utilities, structures, and existing infrastructure with precision
  • Load trucks and manage material movement efficiently
  • Follow grade stakes, site plans, and supervisor directions
  • Maintain safe working distances from personnel and other equipment
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Identify hazards and maintain situational awareness on active construction sites
  • Communicate effectively with ground crews, truck drivers, and supervisors
  • Maintain production while ensuring safety and quality standards are met
Preferred Skills
  • Strong understanding of excavation safety and trenching practices
  • Ability to read grade stakes and site plans
  • Experience working around utilities and tight work areas
  • Knowledge of soil conditions and safe spoil placement
  • Mechanical awareness and the ability to recognize equipment issues
  • Experience working in heavy civil construction, mining, or aggregate operations
Qualifications
  • Experience operating track hoe/excavator equipment 3+ years
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and production
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
