This role involves operating a tractor to cut and maintain large areas of land on a consistent weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and has hands-on experience with tractor operation and routine tractor maintenance. This position reports directly to the Crew Leader or Production Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate a tractor to mow and maintain large fields and grounds
Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly
Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is used properly
Keep daily logs of work completed and maintenance performed
Collaborate with the team to prioritize work areas
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
Proven experience operating tractors and mowing equipment
Strong knowledge of tractor controls/operation and routine tractor maintenance
Reliable with a strong work ethic and good time management
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
Commitment to safety for self, co-workers, and the public
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude or small engine repair experience
Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines related to groundskeeping
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent desired
Previous outside construction, landscape, or similar field experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must
6 months commercial landscape experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
Ability to work in various positions (standing, kneeling, squatting, bending) for extended periods
Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
Health & Welfare earnings $5.09 per hour up to 40 hours per week.
