About the Role: Join our team at Steel and Metal Service Center as a Tractor Trailer Driver in Pottsville, PA.
Responsibilities:
Operate tractor trailers safely and efficiently on designated route
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during transportation.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving tractor trailers.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
