Tractor/Trailer Mechanic

Heavy Equipment Repair Experience (with Hydraulic) qualifies to apply

Tractor/Trailer Mechanic will repair and maintain Nationwide Freight Equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Repairs and services Semi-Trucks and Trailers
  • Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs.
  • Maintains a clean and safe repair shop.
  • Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintains repair log for vehicles and equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and/or Experience:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.

Required Education and/or Credentials:

  • High school diploma or GED with one to three years of related technical experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training required.
  • ASE Certification(s) (preferred; but not required)
