Tractor-Trailer Shop Manager

We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as Shop Manager at our Des Moines terminal.

Shop Manager Qualifications

• Truck Shop supervisor experience required
• Experience with the maintenance practices of the established truck and engine manufacturers
• Preventative maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required
• Post job offer physical and drug screen required
• Parts inventory knowledge
• Ability to work hours needed
• Ability to travel for training, etc.

Shop Manager Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with drivers, technicians, and vendors
• Work order management
• Employee management and scheduling
• Quality assurance of repairs
• Facility maintenance management
• Assure all DOT, OSHA, DNR, Federal, and State regulations are followed and adhered to
• Other duties as assigned
