Job Description:
Now hiring Trade and Customs Compliance Coordinator - Direct Hire
Location: Tomball, TX
Salary: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Duties:
- Manage daily import/export compliance activities and documentation
- Review customs entries, HTS classifications, and duty rates for accuracy
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies (CBP)
- Maintain import/export records, compliance databases, and tracking logs
- Support post-entry corrections, audits, and tariff optimization initiatives
- Develop and report on KPIs related to trade compliance and logistics performance
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance teams
- Serve as internal subject matter expert on trade compliance regulations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in customs compliance, import/export, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and customs processes
- Experience with ERP systems or customs compliance platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume manufacturing setting
referred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in manufacturing, renewable energy, solar, electronics, or semiconductors
- Experience importing solar panels, batteries, inverters, or electrical components
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or related field
- Certifications such as Licensed Customs Broker, CCS, or CES
