Job Summary:
This role is responsible for reviewing and validating US export-control classifications for products. The analyst will research product information, apply export regulations to determine appropriate classifications (ECCN or EAR99), and document their findings. This position offers a chance to develop specialized expertise in product classification within a global e-commerce and logistics setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and validate product export-control classifications.
- Research EAR and CCL for correct ECCN and EAR99 classifications.
- Evaluate product details to support classification decisions.
- Document classification rationale and research.
- Escalate complex classifications requiring further expertise.
Must-Have Skills:- Foundational knowledge of US export controls (EAR/ITAR).
- Working knowledge of the Commerce Control List and ECCN structure.
- Understanding of EAR99 classification criteria.
Industry Experience:
Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or international trade compliance is preferred for this role, particularly involving export controls and product classification.
