Our Client, an Agricultural Machinery Heavy Equipment company, is looking for a Trade Compliance Classification Specialist for their Oak Brook, IL location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform HTS classifications for imported products and components.
  • Maintain classification databases, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Support ECCN classifications and other trade compliance activities as needed.
  • Assist with audit readiness, post-entry reviews, and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to obtain technical product information.
  • Maintain compliance trackers, reports, and metrics.
  • Support process improvements, standard work instructions, and data validation activities.
 
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs, classification, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience with HTS classifications and customs compliance activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Preferred
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations, customs operations, and trade compliance systems.
  • Experience supporting audits, broker management, or compliance programs.
  • Familiarity with ECCN classifications or export controls.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification preferred.
