    Job Description

Versigent designs and delivers the systems that move power through modern technology. From vehicles to robotics to energy platforms, our electrical distribution systems enable the next generation of electrified, automated and connected products.

As a standalone company, we combine deep engineering expertise with the speed and focus needed to solve increasingly complex challenges. Our teams move quickly, think with precision and deliver at scale — helping customers do more without adding cost, weight or complexity.

What defines us is how we work: with the agility and momentum of a startup, backed by the experience and discipline of a proven global leader. That combination creates an environment where ideas move faster, ownership is real and impact is visible.

We are seeking an experienced Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen our U.S. trade compliance program while supporting international import and export operations. This role serves as the company's subject matter expert on customs and trade compliance matters, ensuring adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, import/export laws, trade agreements, and global trade requirements.

The successful candidate will partner closely with executive leadership, supply chain, procurement, logistics, finance, and external customs partners to identify compliance risks, reduce tariff exposure, optimize duty savings opportunities, and support business growth. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on trade compliance execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the company's U.S. import and export compliance program.
    • Ensure compliance with CBP regulations, import/export laws, and global trade requirements.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for tariffs, trade regulations, and customs compliance.
    • Identify duty savings opportunities through USMCA, Free Trade Agreements, and other trade programs.
    • Partner with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and leadership teams to assess trade impacts and compliance risks.
    • Oversee customs documentation, classification, valuation, and country-of-origin requirements.
    • Support audits, compliance reporting, and continuous process improvements.
    • Develop and deliver trade compliance training across the organization.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, import/export operations, or global trade management.
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariff classification, valuation, and import/export compliance requirements.
    • Experience with USMCA, Free Trade Agreements, and customs compliance programs.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Preferred:

    • U.S. Customs Broker License.
    • Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments.
    • Knowledge of Mexico Customs regulations and IMMEX programs.
    • Experience with CTPAT, ACE reporting, duty drawback, and customs audits.

    WHY JOIN US?

    • Grow with purpose. We invest in our people by creating opportunities to build skills, take on new challenges, and develop over time.
    • Do work that shows up in the real world. What you contribute here powers systems that are critical to how industries operate and evolve. The impact is visible and lasting.
    • Succeed with the right support. We provide the tools, resources, and environment needed to perform at a high level and sustain that success.
