Job Description

Trade Compliance Specialist – Orlando, FL

Duration: 6-month assignment with potential extension/conversion; no guarantee
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary:
Support international trade operations, including import/export documentation, product classification, country of origin, customs compliance, and coordination with customs brokers and freight forwarders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain HTS classifications and country of origin records.
  • Review import/export documents, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
  • Track international shipments and customs delays.
  • Support customs programs such as Duty Drawback, TIBs, and FTZs.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
  • Support trade compliance data in ERP/SAP systems.
  • Assist with audits, CBP entry reviews, and compliance reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of trade compliance, customs, or international logistics experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Customs/Trade Regulations, HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin.
  • SAP/ERP experience.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Trade automation/software experience preferred.
  • Experience with Duty Drawback, FTZs, or CTPAT is a plus.

Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to warehouse/production areas.
