Role:
  • Provide real-time support to traders and other users on the trading floor for any IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network connectivity, and communication systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems quickly and efficiently, escalating complex issues to relevant teams when necessary.
  • Monitor trading systems and infrastructure to ensure smooth operation and proactively address potential problems before they impact users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain trading software, desktop systems, monitors, keyboards, and other essential IT equipment.
  • Log and document incidents and problems, tracking them to resolution, and ensure all incidents are resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Work closely with other IT teams, such as network, server, and application support teams, to resolve technical issues efficiently and implement system upgrades.
