Position Overview
The Trade Marketing Manager is the strategic owner of channel execution, responsible for building and delivering customer-specific marketing and activation strategies that drive growth, profitability, and brand impact. This role bridges the gap between category strategy and sales execution, ensuring that product assortments, pricing, and brand strategies are successfully translated into compelling retailer programs across both brick-and-mortar and eCommerce channels.
What you'll do
• Serve as primary owner of channel marketing strategy and promotional guardrails.
• Lead customer/channel profitability analysis and optimize ROI.
• Partner in joint business planning (JBP) with key retail customers.
• Develop channel pricing architecture and distribution strategies.
• Translate category strategies into actionable channel-specific roadmaps.
• Build omnichannel activation marketing plans integrating B&M and eCommerce.
• Plan and execute trade activations including displays, POP, sampling, and swatching.
• Lead retailer digital media and digital shelf activation strategies.
• Measure ROI and track program performance.
• Develop sales enablement tools and content to support field execution
Who you are
[• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 6–9 years of experience in trade marketing, channel strategy, or shopper marketing.
• Proven experience in channel ownership and retailer-specific strategies.
• Strong knowledge of shopper marketing and omnichannel execution.
• Financial acumen in pricing, profitability, and P&L support.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
