Trade Operations Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Trade Operations Analyst with a Major Financial Institution located in White Plains, NY. This is a hybrid 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end processing, settlement, and reconciliation of trades across various asset classes. The ideal candidate will ensure transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards while partnering with internal and external teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth trade flows.

Responsibilities:

• Validate, process, and settle trades in internal systems across derivatives and other financial products
• Monitor trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement status; investigate exceptions and drive break resolution through to closure
• Reconcile trade activity with custodians, brokers, and counterparties, ensuring records match and risks are surfaced early
• Partner closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and external parties to troubleshoot failed settlements and reduce recurring issues
• Maintain accurate transaction records and support reporting for audits, controls testing, and compliance requests
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and enhance systems to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in trade operations, settlements, or middle office functions
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and post-trade processes
• Familiarity with industry platforms such as DTCC, Bloomberg, and/or SWIFT (or similar)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Analytical, proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working across financial software platforms
• Curiosity to expand your knowledge across multiple asset classes

Pay range: up to $30.56 per hour
