Trade Support Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide technology support on the trading floor, assisting Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams. The role involves monitoring trading platforms, ensuring system stability, and resolving real-time trading issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and resolving trading issues and compliance inquiries
• Communicating incidents and resolutions to stakeholders and management
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements for traders
• Translating requirements into functional specifications for development teams
• Enhancing regression testing and operational readiness
• Maintaining technical documentation and support resources

Skills & Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in supporting critical trading applications, particularly in Equities. Key qualifications include:

• Comprehensive understanding of trading workflows, FIX protocol, and OMS platforms
• Experience with regulatory and compliance requests (e.g., Reg NMS, Reg SHO)
• Proficiency in SQL, JIRA, and Excel for analysis and reporting
• Ability to collaborate across various functions and communicate technical issues clearly
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with adaptability in high-pressure environments
• Scripting and automation skills are advantageous
