Direct Counsel is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 4–7 years of experience representing large brand owners to join the Trademark and Advertising practice of a leading Am Law 100 firm. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with sophisticated trademark experience who is looking to work with nationally and internationally recognized brands on complex intellectual property and advertising matters.

Position Highlights

• 4–7 years of substantive trademark experience, preferably representing large brand owners

• Prior experience in a large law firm setting preferred

• Strong experience with:

  • Trademark clearance

  • Trademark prosecution

  • Trademark enforcement

  • Advertising claims review

  • Label compliance

  • Advertising-related disputes

• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

• Strong academic credentials

• Experience managing sophisticated client matters

• Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Initiative-taking approach and strong commitment to client service

• References and writing samples required

Compensation

$310,000–$420,000 base salary, depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
