Position SummaryThe Trademark Paralegal reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Trademarks (GTM), provides support to our global Brand Protection program in the Legal department. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual experienced in managing global trademark deadlines and records to ensure compliance and timely prosecution of our iconic brand worldwide. This role will also play a key part in helping to implement and stand up a new docketing system for the company.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAccurately docket and maintain records for U.S. and foreign trademark applications, registrations, proof of use, renewals, office actions, and maintenance filings in the company's IP management/docketing system.Review and process incoming correspondence from the USPTO, foreign trademark offices, external counsel, and internal stakeholders; identify and calendar critical deadlines with precision.Monitor and track all prosecution deadlines, generate regular docket reports, and provide timely reminders to the trademarks team to prevent missed filings.Assist GTM in the compilation of evidentiary and other necessary documentation for Trademark applications, defense of office actions, oppositions, and appeals.Update Foreign Counsel Contact list throughout the year. Assist GTM with the coordination of trademark directives to our global counsel.Upload, organize, and maintain electronic files and documents in the IP database, ensuring data integrity and easy retrieval.Work with legalization agencies and state departments to obtain authenticated, apostilled, or legalized documents from various governmental offices, including foreign embassies.Conduct quality assurance audits on docket entries, resolve discrepancies, and clear completed actions.Assist with portfolio management tasks, including preparing status reports, coordinating renewals, and supporting trademark enforcement efforts as needed.Collaborate with GTM and other team members on special projects, such as portfolio transfers or system improvements.Play a hands‑on role in standing up and implementing a new docketing system, including data migration, testing, process mapping, user training, and ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems.Perform additional responsibilities as needed.Qualifications & Skills5-10 years of hands‑on experience as a Trademark Docketing Clerk, Specialist, or similar role, preferably in an in‑house corporate environment or IP‑focused law firm.Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution procedures, deadlines, and requirements.Proficiency with IP docketing software and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage high‑volume, time‑sensitive tasks with zero tolerance for errors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced global team.Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent experience considered.Experience in the apparel, consumer goods, or fashion industry.Familiarity with global trademark renewal processes and annuity management.Prior experience implementing or migrating to a new IP docketing system (highly desirable).Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Licensed Notary Public in the State of Florida.The Right FitYou bring positive energy and cohesiveness to a team environment.You demonstrate professionalism when dealing with conflict and changing priorities.You can adapt and work in a fast‑paced environment, multi‑task and prioritize like a pro.You believe in open and honest communication.
