Description

Major/Essential Functions

  • Inspects HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
  • Perform electrical task to include: preventive maintenance and replace motors.
  • Repairs heating and air conditioning systems and/or components (actuators, motors, thermostats transformers, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a comfortable work environment.

  • Professional license or certification in refrigeration, HVAC or electrical fields.
  • Prior commercial HVAC experience.

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in written and mathematical skills as may be reflected in the completion of high school or equivalent. Three years experience in designated trade or licensed journeyperson.
