Temporary assignment through: March 31, 2027

Job Overview:

The Temporary Trading & Onboarding Consultant will support financial advisors and internal trading teams during the Commonwealth transition to LPL's ClientWorks Rebalancer platform.

The role will assist with advisor onboarding, platform training, conversion-data review, inbound support, post-conversion issue resolution, and updates to advisor guides and training materials. Successful candidates will be comfortable learning detailed trading workflows, communicating with financial professionals, researching issues, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to recognize when a request can be handled through a standard process and when it requires escalation will be important.

Responsibilities:

Support Commonwealth advisors and internal trading teams as they transition to LPL's ClientWorks Rebalancer platform.

Provide support related to model management, model assignments, restrictions, equivalents, portfolio rebalancing, and block trading workflows.

Assist with platform training through webinars, demonstrations, office hours, scheduled appointments, and inbound calls.

Help users understand documented differences between Commonwealth and LPL systems and workflows.

Review available conversion information to identify missing models, assignments, restrictions, equivalents, or other setup issues.

Research and document advisor, account, model, and system-related questions.

Escalate complex discrepancies or potentially broader conversion issues to the appropriate business or technology partner.

Help update job aids, FAQs, training materials, and guides explaining key differences between Commonwealth and LPL workflows.

Track advisor questions, issue ownership, status, and follow-up through resolution.

Support system testing, defect tracking, and post-conversion stabilization activities.

Maintain working knowledge of investment products, trading systems, model-based practices, and rebalancing methodologies.

Collaborate with Trading, Technology, Product, Operations, Training, and conversion partners.

Support additional trading and operational priorities as conversion demand changes.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

2+ years of financial services, trading operations, client service, or related experience

Experience in a client-service, support, operations, or call-center environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to explain technical or operational information clearly

Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
